Summary
He’s America’s hottest rockstar, and he’s harboring a dark secret...one that could end with deadly consequences.
She’s a small-town girl from the Midwest, escaping an overprotective family.
After catching the first solo gig by the rocker with the looks of a Greek god and the voice of an angel, Evelyn’s a goner.
But Charlie Walker is the worst kind of bad boy all wrapped up in a smoking-hot body, surrounded by scandal and completely untouchable to someone as ordinary as Evelyn.
Or so she thought.
When the chemistry between them is unleashed, the danger involved extends far beyond the threat of their relationship being thrust into the spotlight.

Emotional
An absolute emotional rollercoaster that I couldn't put down. Really well-written characters with complexity but also down to earth. I loved the chemistry between them and would definitely recommend this to others.

Great story
Loved listening to this, I usually like listening to dual narration for the variety however this has been done really well.

Different and I like it!

This is by no means your typical rock star romance! With that said this book takes you on an emotionally roller coaster that I actual enjoyed. I loved the characters because they had such depth to them. Jennifer Ann made me look at rockstar romances differently now. I love when you think a book will be one way and it totally goes against the grain! I recommend this book! It is a good read and I can't wait to see what's next.

Great Listen
I really enjoyed this Listen! Jennifer Ann wrote a romance that had you changing your mind about things constantly, kept you second guessing throughout. It had Dirt, intrigue, twists and romance. Her characterisation was such that she had you getting passionate about the characters; love them, hate them, feel sorry for them and be downright angry on their behalf!
the story was strong and not just a romance, so much more! I do like to guess the ending early on and I may have got gotten near...ish (after a few changes of direction) but I also missed the mark by a mile! So don't start listening to this thinking you know its story.
Amanda Stibling brought the characters to life and her voices were great, such variation, feeling and differentiation, she even had great British accent!
I highly recommend this listen, I will certainly be looking out for more!

A different kind of rock star romance
Brooklyn rockstar is not your average rockstar romance. I expected your typical lead singer meets normal girl and falls in love, but this story has a few twists that make it completely different. Charlie and Evelyn are the stars of this novel. Evelyn is a beautiful, yet naive woman who has been sheltered by her brothers. Charlie is a rockstar, living the wild life. When he meets Evelyn, his life changes. But secrets and fame may just be the thing that breaks them apart. Jennifer Ann has infused a storyline that kept me wanting to know what would happen next. A little suspense and a mystery to solve, as a listener I had to find out what would happen next and how it would impact Charlie & Evelyn. The twist was a surprise and the ending was perfect. And oh, the song Charlie writes will leave you swooning.....
The narration of the story by Amanda Stribling is wonderful. She is able to give voice to the characters, though at times it was a little difficult to differentiate who was talking. I loved her English accent and thought her pacing of the story was perfect.
