Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

The audiobook of A Hat Full of Sky is narrated by Indira Varma (Game of Thrones; Luther; This Way Up). BAFTA and Golden Globe award-winning actor Bill Nighy (Love Actually; Pirates of the Caribbean; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) reads the footnotes, and Peter Serafinowicz (Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace; Shaun of the Dead) stars as the voice of Death. Steven Cree (Outlander; A Discovery of Witches) voices the Nac Mac Feegles. Featuring a new theme tune composed by James Hannigan.

Something is coming after Tiffany...

Tiffany Aching is ready to begin her apprenticeship in magic, but life isn't exactly what she thought it would be.

She expects spells and magic - not chores and ill-tempered goats! Surely there must be more to witchcraft than this?

And Tiffany will find that she needs her magic more than ever, to fight off the insidious, disembodied creature that is pursuing her.

This time, neither Mistress Weatherwax (the greatest witch in the world) nor the fierce, six-inch-high Wee Free Men can protect her. In the end, it will take all of Tiffany's inner strength to save herself.

A Hat Full of Sky is the second book in the Tiffany Aching series, but you can listen to the Discworld novels in any order.

The first book in the Discworld series - The Colour of Magic - was published in 1983. Some elements of the Discworld universe may reflect this.

We come back to see more colours

Tiffany Aching books are amazing and I am truly glad this adaptation keeps the magic going. I removed one star from the performance because I couldn't understand the Nac Mac Feegle and had to check the book to read those passages. This is a great tale of coming of age, Tiffany is awesome!

A sunrise, magic, but everyday magic.

A sunrise, magic, but everyday magic.

I utterly love this book, and it swooped in to my top five of all time and my favourite Disc World book.

World building made out of life lessons,
Character building made out of elbow grease.

I truly adore this story, and the audible telling is exceptional, I highly recommend!

Fantastic narration

A good book made even better with the new narration. Indira Varma is particularly good. I have the original recording already but this was well worth a credit.

Good story, not sure Katherine was the right orator.

I had to play this book at .8 speed because Katherine talks too fast for me. However, that being said, it was a good story and we worth listening to

Amazing

Indira Varma was made to narrate these books. Especially the female voices like in the 10-12 witches novels. I love reading the Discworld series and had to listen to to audiobooks after an accident. Thanks Indira, you have made listening to audiobooks a pleasure.
