So surprised!
I listened to the first book and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it so immediately bought this to listen to. Sometimes second books can be a bit of a "filler" but this definitely wasn't! I'd caught some spoilers online which I thought might spoil the book for me but it absolutely did not I was hooked till the end. Narrators on audible can be really hit and miss but Jennifer Ikeda is great. The only thing I think lets these books down is actually how much sex there is! It's all quite graphic and goes on a while which I don't think is needed for the story (i'm no prude, but if I had a physical copy of the book I would skip most of those parts!), the book definitely shouldn't be teen and young adult for that reason!

Hit me right in the depression
The amount of times I had tears in my eyes reading this book is staggering yet they were happy tears just as often as they were sad and I just loved it.
Also sex lots and lots of sex.

LOVED IT! (and I'm not a fan of romance so...)
From the world building to the dialogue, this story is fun and well crafted. Just don't get suckered in, this is a classic "CW" style story where sexy scenes are immediately followed by things designed to destroy you.

Easy listening with some good twists
It takes a while to get into this series, but once you pay attention to the characters and start to relax and do the story, it’s very enjoyable. I look forward to the next one
