Vanessa N. Martinez was born and raised in Chicago. Shortly after graduating high school, Vanessa moved to Guatemala to complete her undergrad. While attending school in Guatemala, she was an International Sales Manager for a lumber company, representing the company throughout Europe, Canada and Central America. Upon returning to Chicago, Vanessa completed her MBA from North Park University. Vanessa shifted her focus to financial services at JPMorgan in 2008 where she found her passion for helping clients navigate the financial landscape. As a Partner and Managing Director, of The Lerner Group, Vanessa’s primary focus is guiding families through all aspects of their wealth. Vanessa’s passion enables her to dive deep into family dynamics and find actionable solutions for complex problems. By partnering with families, Vanessa is able to build meaningful relationships and help them pass on their legacy.
