Dr. Cipriano is a clinical psychologist, formerly practicing lawyer, and a speaker, coach and consultant who has been using her education, training, research, and experience to address and promote wellbeing and culture change within the legal community since 2005. She was an inaugural co-chair of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Lawyer Well-Being Committee, where she spearheaded the development and implementation of the CBA’s well-being pledge. She was named a 2022 Connecticut Legal Awards Game Changer honoree in recognition of her contributions to how we think about and address lawyer well-being. Dr. Cipriano has been an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Yale School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry since 2010. She is a former Consulting Clinical Supervisor in the Yale Department of Psychology. She has held leadership and governance positions in the American Psychological Association and the Connecticut Psychological Association since 2012.  She was the recipient of the 2015 Distinguished Contribution to the Practice of Psychology Award from the Connecticut Psychological Association.  She is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association. Her articles addressing lawyer well-being have appeared in Law360, Reuters Legal, Westlaw Today, the Connecticut Law Tribune, the Los Angeles Daily Journal, the San Francisco Daily Journal, Connecticut Lawyer Magazine. and California Lawyer.
