Terri Schlack grew up in Wisconsin and, after college, got married. Due to Rich's army career, they lived in Kansas, Texas, and Germany. Along the way two sons were born. Terri earned her Bachelor's degree in Wisconsin and later, her Master of Education degree in Texas. Her 35 years of teaching included grades three through eight and college. Writing was a hobby trying different formats to include poems, plays, parodies and short stories mainly for educational purposes but also entertainment for whatever reason. When Rich retired in 1990, the family moved back to Wisconsin. Terri then volunteered at the Military Veterans Museum & Education Center in Oshkosh, WI where she is still very active. To keep writing, she is editor of the quarterly Museum newsletter. In 2024, Terri has published Afterward: Murder of a Soldier, a true story, as well as "The Military Veterans Museum & Education Center" which describes and tells stories about the vehicles, artifacts and models at the Museum.
