Simon Corbin is an author from southwest London. Simon spent over 20 years as a freelance writer/journalist (writing feature articles for newspapers and magazines and completing copywriting assignments for advertising agencies, government departments and blue chip clients) before moving into teaching. (Simon has taught both journalism and creative writing at Richmond Adult And Community College in Surrey). Simon has five novels on Amazon: Rude Boy - a 'rites of passage' tale from the Punk era; Love, Gudrun Ensslin - a 'concept thriller', linking the worlds of politics, finance and terrorism; Little Bastard - a darkly comic 'kitchen sink' family drama and Black Dog, a crime/supernatural chiller. Simon's latest novel - I Should Be So Lucky - is a crime/noir thriller set in London and conceived as 'The definitive novel of the 1980s.' In recent years, Simon has branched out into screenwriting - collaborating with a co-writer on a script for a TV thriller under the guidance of a BAFTA-winning TV producer and co-authoring a horror movie script for Hollywood investors. Outside writing, Simon's interests include cartooning and caricaturing (something he has enjoyed ever since he could hold a pen), playing music (having spent eight years as a drummer in various bands, Simon now plays guitar and writes songs) and playing tennis (when weather permits!).
