Rob Harper is an Associate Professor in the Department of History and International Studies at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, where he teaches early American history, Native American history, and historical research methods. He was a long-term NEH Fellow at the Huntington Library in 2013-14 and a ACLS/Mellon Recent Doctoral Recipients Fellow in 2009-10. While at the Huntington he fell hopelessly in love with the San Gabriel Mountains. He lives in Stevens Point, Wisconsin with his partner, Amanda Meidl, and his very good dog, Tucker.
