Rich Wehrman was born in Iowa in 1953. He met his wife, the sometimes unwilling subject of most of his current stories, while in college. In their early dating, often he would return from classes to find a note from her tied to his bicycle. After "stalking" him for 3 years, he finally gave in and proposed. Married for 45 years now and retired for 6, he writes true-to-life humorous short stories of both her sewing exploits and his early retirement adjustments. His humorous stories have been published in several national magazines. "Pushing a Thread and All Her Other Buttons - Retirement Tales From a Sewist's Spouse" is his first book that is a collection of these anecdotal retellings, meant to appeal to both sewists and their spouses. = = = = = = He has been blessed with reviews from well known author/educators in the sewing world: As a person who is of the age to retire and is a lifelong sewer (now there's a tricky Webster word).
