When Max Holland, the man everyone is betting on to win the ten thousand dollar purse, is shot dead in Jack’s office, there’s concern that racers are being targeted. Jack is discreetly hired to find the killer. Book six, Deadly Relations, it's Jack's job to solve another murder, and a bank robbery, this time with the help of Gaga Albright.
