Kyle Russell is a native of Phoenix, Arizona. He has an undergraduate degree in Administration of Justice as well as a graduate degree in Secondary Education (English) from Arizona State University, and a second Master's in screenwriting. If he isn't sleeping, he is in his home office pounding away on novels and screenplays. Writing is compulsory for him. He feels unfulfilled if a day passes without new words being added to a manuscript. He loves the editing process and often edits the work of other authors. Mr. Russell is the father of twins who keep him on his toes, but reward him with limitless ideas. They bring him immense joy and an overwhelming feeling of pride. Many of the themes he writes about come from the excitement and fear involved in parenting in this aggressive and dangerous world. Several of his books-in-progress are built around this exact truth. His marriage of over 22 years fuels him, as he creates characters for whom such possibilities exist. His wife grants him the faith to press forward. Being worthy of the goals we set for ourselves is another of his recurring themes as a result. Kyle is dedicated to writing novels based in reality, whether it takes place in an existing realm or not. The characters are relatable. He writes about struggles and fears and the kind of evil we all face in life, acknowledging that horrible individuals exist and act against us. He does so to exorcise the nightmares any father and husband dreads, allowed to sleep a little better at night because of the ends his villains come to in his tales.
