Karen is the author of two novels: The Knox (coming early 2026), and Our Little World, published by Dutton/ Penguin Random House. She attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she may or may not have belonged to a secret society... Karen obtained her MFA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Writing is her first love but second career; she worked as a nurse in many settings for many years. Originally from New Jersey, Karen now lives in the charming Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston with her husband, their two kids, and a 90-pound bernedoodle.
