Joseph P O'Donnell is the author of six books that appear on Amazon. Under the pen name of JP O'Donnell, he is the author of the Gallagher Trilogy of mystery novels, Fatal Gamble, Deadly Codes and Pulse of My Heart. These books served as the basis for the feature-length motion picture, Bent (2018), of which he was a Producer and that starred Karl Urban, Sofia Vergara and Andy Garcia. In 2020, O'Donnell's book The Tall Tree was honored with the Silver Award in the category of Best Children's Picture Books of 2019. In 2022, he released Living on the Fringe of the Mob, a riveting collection of true stories as told by a man connected to the New York Mob for more than forty years. O'Donnell's most recent book, Run for My Life, is the exciting, inspirational story of a man who escaped from Communist-occupied Czechoslovakia in 1964 when he was sixteen years old.
