GregRobin Smith’s work as a writer, educator, performer and fundraiser goes back over 35 years and includes work fundraising with his one-man show on Benjamin Franklin, teaching hands-on History classes to thousands of students, touring, consulting, lecturing and an occasional foray into being practical. Despite that, to examine the mindset of an Elizabethan poet, he wrote over 2,000 sonnets and posted many on-line. That’s how New Zealand screenwriter Guy Hamling discovered GregRobin’s work and asked him to translate Hamling’s script ‘VERONA’ into Shakespearean English. That relationship inspired To Each Their Own Interviewed by LA Screenwriting Consultant Pilar Alessandra (OnThePage.tv) and Shakespeare scholar Ehren Ziegler (InYourEarShakespeare.com) for his skills in ‘Writing in an Historical Voice’, his interest in things Elizabethan continues – (WaShakespeare.org). He frequently Tweets story ideas (Twitter.com/POBox_TheBronx) and is a representative of The Showcase of Fundraising Innovation & Inspiration (www.sofii.org). He is a member of The National Writers Union and Northwest Screenwriters Guild. His long-time sponsors are The Interactive History Co. (InteractiveHistory.net) and Hardwick & Sons, Inc. (eHardwicks.com) Information on his other works can be found at Ben-Franklin.org and WaShakespeare.org GregRobin lives in the Seattle-ish area with his wife – writer, artist, musician, educator, and editor – Cymbric Early-Smith, & Zephyr Z. Cat. When Cymbric likes his words, he is happy.
