Dr. Emir Cruz Fernández is the author of the award-winning book "Muslims of Spain," "Marvel Education," and the much anticipated "The Stoic Educator." He is a fan of everything related to culture. Emir has always been passionate about literature that felt compelled to complete his Ph.D. in Golden Age Spanish Literature. In the process, he also cultivated other arts, particularly the theater. After gaining experience as an actor in everything from experimental to musical theater, he decided it was time to start directing. Today, Dr. Cruz Fernández is proud to be the president of CHAS, Compañía Hispania de Actores Sobresalientes, meaning the "Hispanic Company for Outstanding Actors." As a professor and public school teacher, Dr. Cruz Fernández has the perfect opportunity to share his knowledge with young minds. His expertise includes philology, comparative religion, history, classical mythology, and symbolism. His zest for history and learning has enabled him to dig deeper into the rich past of fascinating topics that aren't well-known from a panoramic, non-biased perspective.
