Dr. Cynthia Addae is a mother, author, and college professor. As an educator, Dr. Addae constantly strives to learn, grow, and use her skills to improve students’ lives – especially those with distinct needs. She believes that EVERY child can achieve their dreams if they work hard. Dr. Addae wrote "Abena’s Big Dream" to raise awareness about stuttering and to show children, parents, guardians, and teachers ways to assist and encourage young people who stutter. She is also an advocate for public efforts to provide support and empowerment to all people who stutter. Dr. Addae lives in Davie, Florida with her husband and their two children.
