Hi! I'm Jennie Mustafa-Julock, but everyone just calls me Coach Jennie. I work with super ambitious entrepreneurs who got into business to shake the world by its shoulders, but they cannot seem to get out of their own way to make it happen. I help them silence their sabotaging inner critic and get on with the business of changing the world. Too many ambitious solopreneurs squander their potential and power while being held back by their inner critic - a silly little cartoon character who lives in your brain who fills your head with nonsense designed to hold your dreams hostage. And you have far too much to offer the world to let that happen any longer. I’m gonna help you silence that inner naysayer so you can stop holding yourself back! Then you’ll never look back in regret at what you could have done. Or to put it more succinctly, I help you GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY. That said, I'm a little different - what you might call an acquired taste. I don’t subscribe to the gentle encouragement coaching thing. My signature cathartic shoves get you unstuck and unstoppable. Instead of telling you trite nonsense like "feel the fear and do it anyway," taking you on a some pseudo-spiritual journey, or coddling you endlessly like a cheerleader, I help you take an honest assessment of your inner commentary and expose it for what it really is - a web of lies brought to you by your irksome inner naysayer I call Hilda. You’ll find that I use powerful, pragmatic, FUN, oh-so-Coach Jennie coaching exercises unlike what you’ll find elsewhere. I give you a playful, yet cathartic shove in the right direction (with love and humor, natch). Because I don’t want you to just feel warm and fuzzy, I want you to actually fix the problem. It's the quintessential manual for differentiating Hilda’s nonsense from your truth. My work has been the catalyst for my peeps to launch new businesses, publish their first books, negotiate career leaps, adventure the world, and more. Other Really Important Stuff I recently relocated to the west coast for the first time in my life. For now we are here in Los Angeles, but have also lived in NYC, Boston, Washington, DC, Florida, and Ohio. Yeah, we move a lot. I’m married to the most amazing woman on the planet. My favorite things are my shiny new electric blue Mini Cooper, my iPhone, my cocktail shaker, my boxing gloves, and my Barbra Streisand record collection. I’m fluent in English and American Sign Language. I’m a Mac, not a PC. I am allergic to peanut oil, terrified of fireworks, and regard smoking as the most repugnant habit on the planet. I absolutely love attending the live theater, biking, brunching, and gazing at the ocean. Above all things, I love my wife, my family, sparkling wine, and the Boston Red Sox.
