The author Catalina Cudd is often on the road for months as a nomad – either on her brave Harley or as a backpacker on the other side of the world. She writes dark books that she would enjoy reading herself and has an oversized heart for difficult, morally questionable characters with an innate tendency to make wrong decisions. Even in the darkest of times, she always sees a spark that gives hope for a good ending. When she's not wandering through world history, she lives with her husband and dog on an ancient farm in the middle of nowhere, where she only has access to the internet when lightning strikes an ash tree on a stormy full moon night. Catalina loves good food but is a hopelessly terrible cook. She prefers to spend her free time with a good book or a bad horror movie.
