As a young athlete, I’ve played them all. From Little League to soccer, tennis to basketball, volleyball and lacrosse. And, of course, ski racing. While I have never won a championship or ever competed professionally, I always had a love of the game. It was not about scoring goals or winning points. It has always been about how I felt on the court, how I connected with my teammates, being in flow with the mountain. Youth sports psychology has the potential to make a lasting impact on our children. Not only to make them better athletes, to help them become their best selves. My mission is to bring these mindful fundamentals to the forefront of our consciousness so that all kids can feel that sense of joy playing their favorite sport. And the hope that their joy for play turns into a lifelong love of sports. Coaches can be the guiding north star that gives kids the chance to live their dreams. On the field, on the court, and most of all, in life.
