Becky Due is an award-winning author, abstract artist, fitness enthusiast, and self-described introvert who loves people. She is known for her work in women's fiction, often focusing on empowering themes that address tough issues such as abuse, self-esteem, and personal transformation, while incorporating humor and relatable characters. Her novels include titles like The Dumpster: One Woman's Search for Love, Touchable Love: An Untraditional Love Story, Returning Injury: A Suspense Celebrating Women's Strength, and The Gentlemen's Club: A Story for All Women, among others. She has also written nonfiction guides for women and a children's book, Blue the Bird: On Flying, which teaches lessons about independence and self-esteem. Beyond writing, Becky Due has a background in advocacy, having worked as a victim's advocate supporting rape victims. In 2007, she founded Women Going Forward, the first national women's telephone support group, which operated for two years. She has appeared on national TV and radio programs and has been featured in numerous newspaper and magazine articles for her efforts to empower women. She has also spoken at women's resource centers, shelters, colleges, and high schools across the United States.
