Anthony Gregory is a historian specializing in U.S. legal and political history. He is currently an Assistant Professor in Residence in the History, Philosophy and Social Sciences Department at Rhode Island School of Design. He was previously a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University's Political Theory Project. Anthony earned his Phd in History at the University of California, Berkeley. Before returning to academia, he spent eleven years as a researcher at the Independent Institute in Oakland, California, where he wrote widely for popular publications. He enjoys music and cooking and lives with his family in Providence, Rhode Island.
