About this listen
Welcome to Enchantra. There’s only one rule: Never, ever trust your heart.
When Genevieve Grimm’s mother is killed, Genevieve wants answers nobody can give… until she receives an invitation to Enchantra, a cursed palace filled with temptations and illusions.
Arrogant and dangerously handsome, Rowin Silver meets her at the door and refuses to let her inside. But Genevieve finds her own way in… And soon realizes her mistake.
Enchantra is a twisted labyrinth of marble and thorns, where Rowin’s family are trapped forever in a deadly game. Now, Genevieve must win or die.
Rowin offers her a deal. They can compete together… if they convince everyone watching that they’re desperately in love.
Genevieve knows she can’t trust Rowin, but she’ll do whatever it takes to survive. As they hunt and hide together, Genevieve tries to ignore the desire burning between them. She absolutely cannot fall for this man. Cannot forget that she’s only pretending to be in love.
After all, it was Rowin who taught her Enchantra’s first rule… Never, ever trust your heart.
Packed with deadly intrigue and spicy romance, Enchantra will transport you to a world of feisty heroines and morally gray love interests, fake dating, forbidden desire and family secrets. If you love books by Kerri Maniscalco, Carissa Broadbent and Lauren Roberts, prepare to discover your new romantasy obsession.

Best Book Narrator
loved the chemistry between the two main characters. I love how protective Rowin was. I really liked the side characters were siblings rather than strangers so I felt connected to them all more.
I loved the idea of the hunt and how different it was from the original book.
Genevieve grew on me in the second half of the book. I mentioned Phantasma reminded me of Caraval and Saw. This book was like Legendary. I couldn't help but compare how many similarities there were between the Caraval series and this series. Genevieve has the same personality of Donatella in Caraval. Both characters do that annoying thing of acting headstrong, not listening but then there is someone always there to save them.
Then I noticed the elder sisters were similar in both book series. Scarlett had pressure from her dad, whilst Ophelia her mum.
I don't know but for the first half I just couldn't help but notice the similarities between the two book series.
This book was much less blood thirsty than the first but I liked that better.
The narrator is probably one of my favourite narrators. Phantasma was my audiobook of the year because of her. She immerse you into the story and is clear at whatever speed you listen at.
I liked this book but I guess I'm just getting fed up of this type of FMC who doesn't listen to anyone.

This was ridiculously good
Released at 8am. Finished by 3pm. It's a 12-hour audiobook. I'm not proud, but I have no regrets.
Enchantra delivers. The world expands in all the best ways. Genevieve is funny, completely shameless and resilient and I am fully in love with Rowin.
Kaylie Smith somehow balances delicious tension, magic, some truly laugh-out-loud lines with a surprisingly endearing family dynamic, despite the glaring dysfunction!
The story is self-aware, fast-paced, and ridiculously hot. This series just keeps getting better. If Phantasma hooked you, Enchantra will ruin your productivity for the day in the best possible way.
Five stars. No notes. I am once again unwell over fictional men.

Good story but not as good as Phantasma
Phantasma was definitely better, but this one is ok. Genevieve was so annoying for the first half of the book but calmed down in the second half.

Phenomenal writing and passionate narration combine!
After Phantasma (Wicked Games I) made my top listens of last year, I'd been anticipating this book. When the Audible code arrived in a surprise email from Noelle at Second Sky, I did an imaginary jig in my mind while whooping and grinning simultaneously.
Laura Horowitz again breathes life into Kaylie Smith's incredible writing, bringing the characters and story to stunning life. I have no idea how she makes the male characters sound so swoon-worthy (or vile!), but I'm here for it!
Genevieve Grimm travels to the strange Enchantra estate after opening an invitation meant for her dead mother. Vivvie is late and unwelcome, but she doesn't let that stop her from entering the intriguing house. Soon trapped in an impossible reality, her only possible way out tied to the appealing yet frustrating Rowin Silver...
As the enticing, sinister hunt begins, things heat up to a scorching level between Vivvie and Rowin, making me blush through my headphones. You may want to have a cold shower on hand!
Once I'd pressed play, I couldn't stop listening to Enchantra. Kaylie Smith's phenomenal writing and Laura Horowitz's passionate narration grabbing my heart ❤️ The characters are completely addictive and the story utterly compelling.

More Deadly Games, Even Deeper Secrets
I don’t know how Kaylie Smith has done it again, but she has! Just as charming yet brimming with a sense of gothic foreboding with more high stakes games. The Silver family have just as many dark secrets as the Grimms, making for the perfect second instalment. I was worried it would be more of the same, but whilst the successful formula from Phantasma has been used the result is a captivating cousin, not a tired twin. I thought this was a duology so was over the moon to learn a third book is in the works!
Thank you Bookouture Audio, Secondsky books and Kaylie Smith for the audiobook ARC via NetGalley and Audible in return for an honest review. I devoured it in less than 24 hours. The narrator, Laura Horowitz, put in another great performance that meant I spent the 12 hour duration so hooked I ignored all my responsibilities and the need to sleep.

Ok
It was fine, but disappointing in comparison to the first book. I found myself not really caring about the characters & thought the whole story was just not as a strong as phantasma.
