Hannah Hickok is a brand-new witch living in a brave new world. Casper Creek, a cosplay Western town left to her by a grandmother she didn’t know, belongs to Hannah...and a few colorful characters (more affectionately referred to as workers) are part of the deal. Cooper Wyatt is head of security, and the last thing he wants is a new face on his turf...until he meets Hannah and feels that instant sizzle. Unfortunately, the flirtation comes with a heaping side of trouble.

Hannah Hickok is at a crossroads in her life. She’s single, out of a job, and living in an apartment she absolutely hates in a suburb of Detroit. All that changes when she receives a registered letter and finds out she’s inherited a performance town. Casper Creek is located in Kentucky, on top of a small mountain, and is fashioned after notorious towns from the old west. Workers dress up, man the saloon, and put on a variety of performances several times a day. A city girl, Hannah is out of her element. She’s determined to give it a shot, though.

Hannah Hickok is slipping into her new life as owner of Casper Creek - a cosplay western town - and newly-minted witch. She thinks she has everything under control...until demons come calling. At first, she’s not even certain what she’s dealing with. A freak accident claims the life of a father, leaving him exposed during a sudden sandstorm, and his son’s reaction (complete with glowing red eyes) leaves a lot to be desired. Cooper Wyatt, head of security for the resort, wants to believe her when she explains what she saw but it’s not exactly easy for him.

In short order, an FBI agent is put in charge of the case, Casper Creek is shut down, and Hannah and Cooper are plunged into a sundry world of magical creatures.

Things don’t get better when, following a romantic dinner with her boyfriend, Cooper Wyatt, magic and mechanics collide in a multi-vehicle accident that looks to have been caused by a dark shadow. One of the survivors, a young teenager, could be shuffled into the system if someone doesn’t step up.

As Cooper Wyatt struggles with the perfect way to propose, his girlfriend is buried in zombie lore...and seemingly having a good time digging up solutions. The bodies are rising from two different cemeteries, one so old it hasn’t seen a new resident in 30 years. Why, though?

Casper Creek is a town in flux. Contractors are on the scene making plans for the new restaurant, owner Hannah Hickok is plotting ridiculous couple’s costumes for the Halloween party, and there’s a new demon in town. Instead of coming after Hannah directly, the demon does an end-run around the witch and starts possessing the area children…and sending them into a frenzy. Through a fluke, Hannah manages to put an end to the first attack. Unfortunately, a wave of them are set to follow.

Hannah Hickok is looking forward to her first Christmas in Casper Creek. She has plans for cookies, cuddles with her fiancé Cooper Wyatt, and a visit from Chris Kringle. Instead, the man who visits isn’t the one Hannah was inspecting. No, it’s her former fiancé Michael…and he’s arrived with an agenda. Michael has more attitude than brains, and he’s ready to make life difficult for Hannah…right up to the point where his new fiancée is killed and her body goes missing from the morgue.

An eerie howl draws Hannah and Cooper to Main Street during a snowstorm, and what they find confuses them. There’s some sort of monster stalking the downtown area, and a woman has appeared out of nowhere in the creature’s wake only to collapse in front of them. Before Hannah can call for help, the woman disappears, leaving a mystery and a monster hunt on the menu.

Spring has hit Casper Creek. That means construction on Hannah Hickok’s future home with her fiancé Cooper Wyatt is finally commencing, and work on the new restaurant in town is getting close to completion. Everything should be perfect in her world.

Hannah Hickok has a lot on her mind. She’s engaged, with a wedding around the corner. She and her husband-to-be Cooper Wyatt are building a house near the cosplay western town she inherited from her late grandmother. And she’s gearing up for a fight with the witch who wants to steal her magic and kill her. All of that falls by the wayside when Hannah realizes that people are starting to develop magical crushes...and the outcome is ugly when the fighting begins.

The final battle is here. Hannah Hickok had high hopes for her wedding and honeymoon, but everything changes when a local politician stops by to casually drop some disturbing news. It seems Casper Creek is going to be seized by eminent domain…and there’s nothing she can do about it. Cooper Wyatt knows that the land can’t just be taken from Hannah willy-nilly, but stopping what’s about to happen is going to take more than the sheriff on their side. They’re also going to need some magical help.
