Caleb Lambert kills people for a living. The money is nice, but it comes a distant second to his primary reason for choosing such a vocation: Caleb often calls it “scratching an itch”. Here’s the thing, though: Caleb won’t just accept any contract. He and his team thoroughly vet each and every prospective mark to make sure they deserve to be punished.

Caleb Lambert’s violent temper caused him to hurt some powerful people. Now, according to those powerful people, Caleb must find a way to make atonement for his sins or else.

Remember Noodle, Indiana? So does Caleb. It ain’t Noodle anymore. And it’s all Caleb’s fault. At least that’s how he sees it. And why not? Caleb brought hell to Noodle during his last visit. Specifically, multiple assassins looking to collect on a sizable contract on his head, caring less than nothing about how they’d turn the town into a post-apocalyptic mess.

Caleb Lambert used to love the once charming little town of Noodle, Indiana. Now, the only thing he loves is the idea of leaving . . . with Noodle in flames behind him. Caleb has been a prisoner in Noodle since his most recent visit, the powers that be keeping him as their puppet for both financial and sinister gains. Death might just be his only way out. Many deaths, in fact. None of them Caleb’s own . . . he hopes.
