There are scads of books written about military leadership, or act of heroism so great they are deserving of their own manuscript. This is not one of those books. This book is about the moments that made us laugh along the way. These are the times that built morale, helped us cope, and otherwise helped make the in between times bearable.

In 2030, human civilization is faced with almost certain extermination. Weather patterns have become more extreme. Super storm after super storm pops up without warning. Some cities and even some smaller nations have become uninhabitable. Some say it is a man-made issue, others claim it is natural. To those losing family members, to those whose lives are destroyed, it doesn't matter what caused it, they only care about how to make it stop.

Private investigator Mitchell King is involved with two difficult cases. He fights to shield a female astronaut from a sexual harassment when he's asked to persuade the stalker to quit. Mitch then becomes personally involved with the sexy murder witness whom he's hired to protect. The investigations take Mitch from the refined engineering of space exploration to the squalor of biker bars and heroin shooting galleries. As he obsesses over his clients, Mitch stubbornly refuses to face his own shortcomings.

An image is archetypal only when it is an individual value, which through natural analogs allows a person to learn about himself, obtain information about his individual qualities recorded in the individual structure of psyche, which ultimately allows a person to legalize his own innate qualities.
