  • Be intentional - Career moves need proper planning
    Dec 2 2024

It always surprises me how little planning Lawyers do, and then when they are looking for a move, they play their cards so close to their chest that they give the recruiter nothing to work with.

Start planning, open up to jump ahead.

  • Are long term law careers finished at law firms?
    Dec 2 2024

By 2035, research suggests that over 70% of Attorneys, globally, will be working in the fractional economy.

What does this mean? What will it look like? How will it affect your legal career?

These are all questions that are as yet, unanswered. But with the rise of fractional suppliers, some connected to law firms and others not (list below), we are seeing this becoming a massive part of the legal services arena: -

    Peerpoint (A&O Shearman)
    Vario (Pinsent Masons)
    Adaptive (Simmons & Simmons )
    Or glorified temp agencies like:
    Lawyers on Demand
    Axiom
    Morae

And we are seeing growth of platforms such as Umbiie and Lawtrades where the lawyer remains in control

The future of law is exciting.
