  • Episode #14: Meekness- Virtue or Vulnerability?
    Oct 17 2024

Meekness is one of those words that doesn’t always get the respect it deserves. In a culture that seems to value aggression and dominance, we often equate meekness with weakness. But what if it’s actually about strength under control? Here’s the question: What IS meekness? Are we naturally inclined toward it, or do we tend to ruffle our feathers at the idea? And how do we even begin to live out the kind of meekness that Jesus called blessed?

In the spirit of meekness, we humbly ask… wait, scratch that. We boldly ask you to leave us a 5-star review, drop a comment, and weigh in on the Spotify poll. Let’s be honest, meek or not, we could use some love!

    Oct 3 2024

Have you ever found yourself wondering if a Starbucks cup controversy is really what Jesus meant by persecution? In this episode, we're flying straight into the stormy skies of what it means to face trials as a Christian. Join us and our special guest ('migratory bird'), Kris Wint, as we dig into the tough questions: Is persecution a guaranteed pitstop on the Christian journey? Does the fact that so many of us haven't faced it mean something about the state of our faith? Or are we missing the feathers that prove the bird?

  • Episode #12: Could Jesus Have Sinned? ("Peck-ability!?!")
    Sep 5 2024

Buckle up buttercup, because we've got a real doozy: Could Jesus have sinned? Like... would He have been capable of it? Theologically speaking, those who hold to “impeccability” believe that Jesus could not have sinned. Those who hold to “peccability” believe that Jesus could have sinned, but did not. (Maybe we should call it PECK-ability... more bird puns!!) Was it ever really in question whether Jesus would complete His mission of living the completely sinless life that paid the price for our redemption? Or, was He, by His nature, completely UNFLAPPABLE? 🐦🙄
