Derek Piotr is a folklorist, researcher and performer whose work focuses primarily on the human voice. In 2020, Derek started his Fieldwork Archive to collect folksong, poetry, and memories. Recently, I met up with Derek at the Burnham Library in Bridgewater, Connecticut to discuss his work and the archive.

Adam Meuse has been creating independent comics for 20 years. His two self-published books, Social Insect and Taking Up Space, were recognized in Best American Comics 2010 and 2019. His self-published mini-comic Sad Animals sold over 10,000 copies. You're Garbage Fired, a collection of post-2016 presidential election sketchbook pages was published by Birdcage Bottom Books in 2018. His illustrations also appeared in the 2017 Philip K. Dick award-winning novel The Mercy Journals by Claudia Casper.

Alex Kuno is a full-time artist and illustrator living and working in Lowertown, Saint Paul, Minnesota. His work has been exhibited in galleries around the United States, Rome and Milan, profiled on mnoriginal.org, hifructose.com, Vice.com and juxtapoz.com and he maintains a growing list of commission clients and private collectors around the world.

Max McKerlie is a Toronto-based artist focused on costume design and illustration. Through video and performance, Max has created a group of characters including Pastiché the Quilted Clown, Bisou the Soft Touch Clown, Luno the Moonbeam Clown, Babbetto the Pranking Potential Clown, Ashputtle the Peal and Peridot Clown, and Spirallo the Dizzy Clown that move through a cold and at times hostile world.
