The wind has buffed out the snow surface to perfection, especially on the mid and upper mountain faces, making for some nice flat wind buff off the groomers[2].

    Currently, the weather is clear and sunny, with temperatures ranging from 29°F at the base to 22°F at the summit, and a gentle 4 mph wind[4]. However, by Friday, a weak system will kick up the winds and bring in a few clouds and a chance of snow showers in the evening. The weekend looks bluebird, with light to moderate winds and temperatures in the lower 40s, perfect for those who love skiing under clear skies[3].

    Looking ahead, the long-range forecast suggests a change in the pattern around January 21, with some snowfall expected to end the month and possibly extend into mid-February. But for now, we're in the midst of the dreaded January thaw, so enjoy the current conditions while they last[3].
