Surprisingly dull for a spy story

Mildly interesting, but overlong and just not that exciting. Unless you’re interested in their neighbour’s take on their lawn mowing habits.

Ordinary lives

I liked how the story builds gradually, layering the small details of everyday life for the spies as they embed bit by bit into suburban American family life. The small details add to the richness of the story.
