• 286) James Cooper - Traditional Values Are Under Attack
    Dec 22 2024

Today’s conversation is with James Cooper.

James is a man of many dimensions. With a degree in Nutrition from King’s College London, a Roger Gracie Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and the owner of Body Transformation Gym.

Expect to learn what built James’ resilience, why the quality of resilience is disappearing among modern men, and how he sees the evolving role of masculinity in today’s world.

We cover big questions like why are men often viewed as the problem rather than having problems; what habits to build thrive in a challenging world; and what has led to the destruction and suppression of the middle class in the UK.

This episode is packed with passionate conversation, practical takeaways for developing mental toughness, ambitions and hopes for a return to traditional values, and how you can navigate the pressures of life in 2025.

    Dec 1 2024

Today’s conversation is with Steven Beattie.

Steven is a personal trainer, medicine student at University of Dundee and MMA Fighter.

That varied bio may not sound too out there for a guest on this podcast, but I cannot do justice to what the next 80 minutes have in store for you.

Expect to learn Steven’s truly unique story. Born into deprivation and addiction, Steven's life has been full of challenges, including growing up in gang culture, caring for parents with serious illnesses, serving time in Europe's most dangerous prison Polmont, surviving multiple near-death experiences including a bottling, stabbings and a 70mph drunk crash.

But that is just scratching the surface. Steven has also trained for the marines, learnt fluent Spanish, French, became the fastest sprinter in Universities across Scotland, and is working towards a pro MMA fighter.

I can safely say Steven is one of the most inspiring, resilient, and high agency person I’ve ever met and I know how much you are going to take away from this episode. • 279) Unpopular Opinions - Materialism, Police, Passive Income & Hyrox - Chris Burns & David Hatt
    Nov 10 2024

Today’s conversation is the return of our round table discussion with Chris Burns, owner of Savage Scholar Consulting and David Hatt, Founder of MTN.

It’s been over 7 months since these two were on the podcast and it’s been far too long, I know you’re all looking forward to this format returning.

This time round, we discuss our unpopular opinions on a range of topics including business, career, fitness, mindset, and even wider society.

There's some controversial opinions and strong back and forth, lots of laughs but plenty of valuable insight. You can expect to hear about materialism, unconditional support, DEI recruitment policies, passive income, steroids, Hyrox and much more.

Running order wise, the Solo Q&Q podcast is back next week for episode 280 instead of ending in a 9. I appreciate the volume of messages and support after each one of these and we will keep the cadence of solos every 10 episodes as a minimum.
