Not what I was expecting but informative

More about origins of life from the oceans before getting into the question of intelligent life.

I think maybe I had not read the description correctly as I was expecting an over view of the different species and environment rather than climate change effects.

Still, well presented and informative and a good companion to his earlier podcast.

great podcast,Ben Garrod is great at this type of program.A natural teacher.He also comes across well on the tv and also in his writing,I've not long read his book The Chimpanzee And Me which is great.

good but...

Really enjoyed most of the material but it's called 'a GROWN-UP guide to oceans' so why does the presenter dumb down the interesting parts and talk like he's talking to a child?

Not quite what I expected

'Sequel' to the Dinosaur version but unlike that one, that talks about different species of Dinosaur.
You'd expect the same here talking about animals in the sea but no, it does touch on a few species but instead talks abit about everything to do with the ocean, including global warming.
That being said, it's still an interesting listen.

As a fanatical diver this was a must.

I've had the privilege of interaction with squid, octopi and once a group of three very large cuttlefish performing nature's oldest dance, so this series was a must, and it didn't disappoint for a moment, Excellent!
