Summary
At the end of the world, the zombies are not the scariest monsters. Something evil and vile now hides among the sheep seeking to devour its very heart.
Pastor Mike Brown and his wife, Lauren, are loved by the congregation of the church that rose from the ashes of the zombie apocalypse. But a dark secret, if discovered, could destroy everything.
As Guntersville Island’s fledgling government attempts to solve the mystery of a growing number of missing children, it must ask some hard questions about the messianic leader.
Meanwhile, on the Viva Ancora, Mo, Smokes, and the remainder of the main protagonists continue their trip toward the sea in search of a possible cure. Meeting new friends and foes along the way is, of course, a given: not to mention Mo’s constant complaining.
Will evil win control of paradise? Who can stop its sadistic hunger? Do we need a Hero? Is that a pig?
It’s the end of the world as we know it. Join us, friend. In places where the zombies bite...fish bite...life always bites...and some people bite.
Welcome to Zombie Perdition.

Another work of art by Javan Bonds
A thoroughly good Zombie series has surprisingly got even more sick and twisted in the latest installment.

Again!
This author has done it again! I keep wondering if he can continue to put out quality books with amazing story lines after each book and he accomplishes that each time. The narration, well just look at the name. Always a great narration with him!

Awesome!
Javan Bonds does it again! Zombie Perdition, the seventh book in Still Alive series, is cleverly-written, twisted, and wholly satisfying. The series is actually quite dark, the humor allows the audience to find comedy relief in horrific scenes. The Peevies are ruthless than ever, semi-intelligent, and able to utilize weapons, killing them is becoming even more difficult. The survivors fall and die in the goriest ways possible, either in the hands of blue-lunatics or other humans.
A lot happens in this volume, the Black Hand Gang, Man of God, Wolf Cult, faithful sheep, loads of action, vinegar spillage, penile castration, blood, and plenty of gore. The mystery of the missing children being investigated and Brother Mike Brown is still plotting to take over the town. The blind loyalty of his faithful followers goes to the very extreme. Mo's crew meet a new group of hillbilly survivors, cannibals who love to grill Peevies and enjoy good PV steak.
With a sadistic screenwriter overseeing and manipulating events, proves no one is safe. Doubts even creep into Mo's mind, wondering if the clock is ticking. The suspense and the anticipation are marvelously composed; you never know what's next, keeping you on the very edge of your seat. The twist at the end is insanely good, and I can't wait for book eight.
S. W. Salzman did a phenomenal job with the characters and their accents. His inflections and timing were all spot-on, bringing the story to life. All around, Zombie Perdition was a fantastic listen with outstanding narration, one I highly recommend.

If you’ve got this far you know it is a great book
Another great story in the still alive set, really enjoying following the main protagonists adventures and runnings with the blunatics. As a Brit i’m not sure what regional English accent The narrator was trying to imitate but it made me think of dick Van Dyke with a slight northern twang but still any of my American accents all sound awful so I can forgive this.

I love this Authors humour!
Just when you think you've heard Javan Bonds at his best, and darkest humour - he makes you snort tea through your nose laughing, I had a blast listening to S Salzman narrate Javan's humour, and navigate the devious twists and turns of this plot. I loved getting to know Benji & Devon, and the addition of Neil in his Boba Fett armour can only be entertaining, my one regret was there could have been more Mo and Smokes adventures! Hold on for another wild ride, its a killer!

Awesome fun
The poop flies as much as the blood in this awesomely fun and adventurous series about the apocalypse. The characters are amazingly written, the come to life on the page and I can't stop reading these books. I laughed, I gagged and kept turning the pages in this hit. Book 7 is just as much a hit as the six before it, I love when I can follow along in my mind like I'm watching a movie and with this series I see it all like that, with all the blood and gore I don't know if that's a good thing or not but I love it!! I don't know how Javan does it but keep em coming please!!!! I love the narrator, he nails the voices perfectly, especially Mo and Smokes.

Javan has gone all out in this book 7
Javan has let loose he's taking us to the very depths of a mind that should probably have stayed hidden.
I for one I'm glad that Javan has done this. he has created a strength of characters in there book that you do not find often they are witty self-aware and strong characters. the storyline continues to evolve along with the blues themselves just follow the trale of shit and find out for yourself that your mind is possible ok if this imagination is anything to go by thank you Javan keep up the good work.
the performance only got a 3 because of possibly the worst English accent ever. but then asked me to do a southern American accent and I'm sure that sounds pretty silly as well.

Fantastic addition to the Zompoc family
Absolutely loved it, having started at the beginning of Javan Bonds Zompoc series, and once again laughed, cringed, winced and giggled at the antics of the crew of the Viva Ancora, a replica pirate ship tourist attraction which manages to escape the devastation of a zombie Apocalypse by putting to sea. Have already purchased book 8, which I'm starting next.
