Sci-Fi at its best
Having read and re-read the trilogy over the years I was apprehensive about hearing it. After one chapter I was hooked and sucked in to the exploits of Gregor Eisenhorn once again. If you like the grim dark 40k universe this is a must have addition. But if you’re only into sci-fi or even just something a little different then take a punt with this. The storyline mixes crime noir with action and intrigue. It sucks you in and transports you to the 41st millennium in its gritty, realistic darkness. Pure excellence

Great start to what looks to be a epic series.
Absolutely loved this book, was enthralled by the story all the way, Dan Abnett has such a way of describing the world and the actions of his characters that you can feel like youre there in the same world. Toby longworths narration is nothing short of sublime giving each character life and you the reader a sense of what each characters personality is like, no doubt when i finish this series he shall be up there with my favourite narrators. Recommend this book to all who like sci-fi world.

New to warhammer, don't love this
So, new to warhammer lore and books, and I did not like this part of the universe. Simply not into the detective esque spin on things.
