Epic

Purely amazing and exceeds all expectations just like the rest of the world of Warcraft collection. Highly recommended to any fan who wants to be transported to Azeroth through the power of speech.

Adds extra detail to story

It follows the origin story of Arthas and the people around him, expanding the lore of the frozen throne campaign.

A truly talented author!

After having played the game for well over 15 years, I decided to delve into the novels! Christie Golden is a magnificent adapter of Blizzards story. A truly terrific listen and I will be sure to keep purchasing these books as they come out!

Thank you!

A deep take on a minimal story

This novel adds context, meaning and emotion to the human and scourge campaigns of Warcraft 3. The author is a fantastic voice actor and captures the characters well. I hope Illidan will be on Audible soon.

My first WoW Novel and it did not disappoint!

Great story and the author reads it with depth. I agree with what many have pointed out that a book about Arthas read by a female voice was hard accustoming to, but after a while it became natural due to Goldens very nice tones and depth reading.

I’m hooked and will listen to more, was a great story!

Again, another excellent performance by Christie

The story of Arthas is so tragic. It got by surprise in some details I didn't know. A very good story to listen to.

Great if you enjoy Azeroth

An easy listen that delves into the Warcraft universe. It could have been better if it was longer and certain chapters more fleshed out. But for a casual listen in a world you love it's a must from me.
