New take...
I really enjoyed the concept of shifters that can't shift, it's a great idea for a different take on the genre.
I did find the narrators voice sounded very girlish, which meant I was constantly reminding myself that this wasn't supposed to be a YA book, and I prefer more heat, though this didn't detract from the story

Different
A wolf shifter clan that can't shift. An unconventional bond and more than one mate. Wolf's whisper breaks all the rules.
Akira has been chosen as the one in her clan to free her wolf. Every 7 years one member is gifted with being able to free their wolf. The problem is the Winter Stone is missing and she needs to find it. When she sets out on her journey she doesn't know the key to finding her freedom could be in someone else's pack. When she finds her mates a new conflict is born. This is a love triangle story between Akira and a set of twins (One female and one male.)
A. Williams reads this story beautifully in a unique tale.
ARC. My review is honest and my own.

I just don't get it.......
I just don't get it, who chooses the narrators ? AW made everyone sound like young kids when they were adults ranging from twenty-one to early thirties ! I re-read the preview because for the first hour I thought I had mistakenly bought a kids audiobook (although some of it's content rang alarm bells until the part the characters said their age)!
This was a really good audiobook except for the very important aforementioned, it's hard to get past someone sounding like a nine year old talking sex and killing 'people' ! The front cover picture looks nothing like 'her portrayal' which is something else publishers should pay attention to. Listeners of audiobooks tend to run a 'picture' in their head, knowing what characters look like can make a difference to the enjoyment and imagination. Very good story, bad narration !
