Summary

Bryan Duffy is Witness X - a government agent implicated in a national scandal and banished to Spain until the agenda can be moved on. But when North Korean hit men attack a seeming innocent on the streets of London, Duffy is called back to the fold. He is tasked with finding the woman's assailants and bringing them to justice.

Why has the woman been attacked? Duffy investigates and finds himself sucked into a whirlwind of action and mayhem that is particularly well suited to his special set of skills....

Good story

Good story told from one side. Characters were predictable and under developed. Book could have been longer. Production could have been better.

Duffy

Another brilliant book. I really love, how Mark writes. Even the short stories, keep you hoping the various characters continue. To say I'm hooked is an understatement .
Already downloading my next one.
Narrator is excellent. Very relaxing, considering the various descriptive violent scenes. You can't distract or muffle it. It would take away the edge and spoil the story.

Good second entry to the series.

This is a good second entry to the series. Well written and well read. The narrator doesn't go over rhe top like so many do.

Another great story

The pairing of Mark Dawson and David Thorpe for the John Milton books is pure genius. The wonderful writings of Mark Dawson meets the lovely tones of Davis Thorpes narration brings the books to life. Although a shorter book, it has all the action and interest of the longer books.

Excellent

This was very similar in style to another novella by the author which featured a character called Milton in North Korea. Characterisation, plotting, pace, overall length, were all excellent. The narrator was also first class. I would readily listen to anything else by Dawson and/or with the same narrator. Highly recommended.
