Summary

The dramatic story of a young woman's war - full of heartache and triumph from the best-selling author of Christmas on the Mersey and London Belles.

Kitty has seen her fair share of tragedy and instead of thinking about romance, is determined to do her bit for King and country. Her life as a WREN means she is kept busy much of the time, but when Kitty finds herself stationed back home on Merseyside, she meets up again with Frank Feeny, the brave young officer who has always held a place in her heart.

Britain is on the verge of victory, but will Kitty embrace the future and learn to love again?

Bliss

I have just loved this series, all credit to the author.
The characters are brought alive so much that I feel that I know them & will miss them now that I have finished the series.

Disappointed

I normally like Annie Grove stories but this I found lacking. Too many cliche sentences, the story itself was okay and narration quite good. Not one I would listen to again.
