A delight to listen to.
This book is a delight to listen to. It is well-crafted and action-packed with an engaging story. To top it off it is wonderfully narrated by Jeanne Pilgrim Mayo.

Excellent cozy mystery
Another excellent story. A murder at a vineyard involves Sheridan in another investigation and gives her and Brett an excuse to tour the local vineyards.. I like the style of these stories a mix of investigation and family life, a teenage step daughter, an ex wife causing a few problems and dog rescues. Great characters, an involving mystery, a good range of suspects and a satisfying conclusion make this a great read. Great narration by Jeanne Pilgrim Mayo really enhances the book. I received a complimentary copy of the audio from the author and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

Really enjoyed it - nice and easy listen
I do love following this series - it is a mixture of family life and mayhem. I really enjoy listening to it - very easy listening. The narration just adds an extra easy listening dimension. I cant wait to see what happens next in the series, I am getting so involved in the family life.
This could be read as a standalone but I feel it would be better to read all the books in order, it would just give a more rounded experience.
I was given a free copy by the author but the review is entirely my own.

Sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy
I enjoyed this book. The author gets it just right in her balance of mystery and home life drama, so there is a lot going on in this book. Most of the home life drama continues on in each book (such as planning a family trip to Ireland) but the mystery gets wrapped up nicely. This doesn't mean you have to have read or listened to the previous books because the author gives you enough background information to follow along and it makes a great standalone. Having said that this is a series so you do get to know the characters and a lot are recurring favourites. The mystery was interesting and somehow Sheridan always finds herself in the thick of it, making for an entertaining listen and with this book you don't get the nasty hangover after to much wine.
Brett gets an early morning call and Sheridan just knows it means trouble but she had no idea it meant trouble for a friend. A work colleague at the school she works at, the same man who is usual asking her to stay out of investigations is asking for her help. His daughter's husband has been found murdered at her place of work and she has no alibi that will stand up to close scrutiny. Going to different vineyards is a tough job but Sheridan and her friends are up to the task as the investigate.. The murder isn't the only strange going on's and a number of vineyards have had there from sabotaged. Could the killer and the vandal be the same person? And if so can Sheridan find the motive behind them both before the police arrest the wrong person?
I liked the narrator. She is pleasant to listen to and creates some great voices.
