Terrible narrator
The book itself is really good but the narrators voice is really sleep inducing. Feel asleep pretty much every time I listened to it, so bought the actual paper copy instead.

Magnificent and Utterly Depressing
Chomsky’s unique perspective is remorselessly rehearsed throughout this audiobook. Everything you thought was good is bad; no American hero is left untarnished. Probably Kennedy comes of worst of all, not because he was any worse than the others but because of the fawning rhetoric of his admirers.
Not for the faint-hearted, but an important contrary voice.

Incredible and horrific facts for all to hear
The facts laid out in this book give a clear view and reason why the USA and its Imperial allies are so hated in the world. I have often wondered at the aggressive stance of USA world policy whilst claiming to be the peace maker and world policeman. This book explains very clearly the difference of the policies the USA actually follows and describes the USA acts of worldwide terrorism, especially since the end of World War Two. The record of human tragedy inflicted on innocent people around the world by the USA exceeds anything I could have imagined, and it's continuing war of terror, not against terror, is something this book shows clearly.
I have been left speechless by the facts this book reveals and it will be a long time before I can really absorb the horror and callous disregard for democracy and human rights outlines.
Thank you Noam for doing what the worlds consistently press fails to do.
