Summary

Squatting: The action of occupying a property that the squatter does not have permission to use.

Gabby:

I prefer the term, borrowing, or, taking care of a property that would otherwise fall into ruin.

And I am enjoying it until the hot new, grumpy-as-hell owner turns up intent on chucking me out so he can flip the place to make a profit.

Persuading him to let me stay is almost as hard as the work he dolls out for the back rent he says I owe.

But damn if that construction-worker body of his isn’t hot enough to melt concrete....

Daniel:

I’ve got four weeks to flip my new place and sell it for a profit.

I don’t have time to deal with the sexy squatter intent on staying put.

But since she has nowhere else to go, I decide I’ll let her stay, so long as she earns her keep.

Then she’s out.

If only she wasn’t so tempting, taunting me with her body as she gets down and dirty on my site.

Gabby and Daniel:

Four weeks to fix up the house, sell it, and say good-bye.

Four weeks with no flirting, no eye-screwing, and no fantasizing about each other.

We can totally do it.

Until we can’t...

What the Flip is a new, hilarious romcom novella.

It can be listened to as a stand-alone (no cliff-hanger!) or as the first installment of the Love in Short series of stand-alone (full-length) novels.

Warning: May induce tears of laughter, all the feels, and a puddle in one’s pants.

Hilarious and sexy romcom

I enjoyed the banter between Dan and Gabby. Their chemistry was through the roof!!
The narrator did a fabulous job of bringing all the characters to life and I highly recommend this story. I'm looking forward to the next instalment.

Quick rom com standalone

For a novella, this one actually felt like a complete story. It was a quick, fun rom com. It was a stand alone novella, though the end of this audiobook introduces more characters and leads into the next book of the series.

The narration was unique in that the language was very, very informal. I was able to understand it, but it definitely wasn't proper English. This is the only audiobook I've heard with these particular accents. It felt more like an audio play than an audio book. I would listen to more of the series.

I received a copy of this audiobook at my request, and the opinions here are my own.

cute story, but not the narration was not ideal

i liked this story, it was cute and despite being short, it still managed to make me feel the love growing between the two. also, the drama part which os expected in any romance novel, was pleasantly short and resolved rather quickly. the narrators did a decent job, but i was not too fond of the strong accents. luckily i love in the uk and therefore i could understand what they were saying, but i believe most people outside the uk may struggle. also, if i understood correctly, the story happens in america and therefore i don't understand the choice made to pick these accents. i also believe the voices were way too mature to give life to 2 people below 30. i received a free copy of this audiobook and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
