Summary
Warning: This book is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any of your problems.
In actuality, this book expresses all of the problems I've encountered in my life since I was a child.
Hi, my name is Yousef Saleh Erakat a.k.a. Fousey. I am a YouTuber, actor, wannabe motivational speaker, artist, and a depressive with over 15 million total YouTube subscribers, a couple of Hollywood movies on my resume, some big awards on my shelf, and for the first time, I will be opening up about how I survived my struggles with depression, anxiety, fame, suicidal thoughts, and addiction. Welcome to my life.

Review from a long term fan
Thanks for publishing this story!
I feel like there is a lot missed out of the story, like it was slightly rushed at the middle and end, I have been a huge fan of Fousey for many years but I felt a bit annoyed when I bought meet and greet tickets to see him at Adam and Fousey UK show and I went to Roman vs Fousey in London, I bought merchandise and all that and I hoped I would get to meet him but I had a feeling I wouldn't get to and that is what happened.
This was really interesting though. I know its not my place to say, but I feel like its not bipolar but not feeling loved and like he could talk to his family about things and it's like he wanted to be this huge personality so he would be loved but I don't think its bipolar, also drugs caused the 'manic' episodes and if drugs are the cause it is not bipolar it is effects of the drugs. The depression at the end of big periods of his life is because nothing can remain high forever but I don't see it as mental illness... I feel like in the US EVERYTHING is medicalised nowadays but human experience is emotional and wild but not always a mental illness. Having said that this is just some random persons opinion and you can disregard it if you disagree.
Having to live a double life is exhausting though.
I was surprised about the addiction as he has never told any of us Bruh Bruhs what it was. I was a bit suprised about the detail it went into about that right at the beginning tbh lol... but fair.
Also if you read this Yousef realise that your worth is not dependant upon what career you do, you said in the story that when you improve yourself you will become a totally different person but I personally disagree, you will remain you and I think running away from yourself and fighting against the person you are is not the answer, accept yourself for who you are the good and the bad and still work on self improvement but not with the goal of changing yourself but enhancing yourself. You will still have your struggles no matter where you go or however much you acheive, it's how you handle them that matter. Nobody is perfect and we all have flaws but its okay.
if you do publish a motivational story I aim to buy that too 😉
