The Seelie hold on Faerie is slipping, and wrathful gods are closing in...

Petra Maguire, newly crowned queen of the Carraig Sidhe, wishes she could focus on her own fledgling kingdom, but Faerie is facing threats unlike any seen in generations. If the Seelie are to have any hope of victory, she must unravel the mystery of the ancient power running through her veins.

The gripping adventure continues

The gripping adventure continues with this wonderful instalment of the stone blood series.I have enjoyed all the books in this series and it is like one big continuous adventure, one that you need to start with book one and work your way through. With so much going on it is hard to pin point what makes it work so well, other than great characters that you care about, lots of action and battles to the death, betrayal, vengence settled, new and old alliances forged, prophesy and even a little romance. Whew with so much going on I need to stop and take a breath. It certainly grantees that you won't get board listening to the story and with the authors clever skill of writing you will have no problem picturing it unfold right in front of your eyes. Can't wait to see what the author has in store for us next!!! The whole series is a must listen too, in my opinion.
Still un sure of her position as Queen Petra Maguire must fight the biggest battle of her life, to save the summerlands for kinds. Can she find a big enough army to take down Periclase? First she will have harness the power of the gods for her people as foretold in the prophecy. But time is running out as the attacks on the kingdom increase and become more deadly with each strike. Who will survive?
I like the narrator and think she has done a wonderful job through out the series and she is a big part of why I have enjoyed this series so much, besides the great story, of course.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
