Summary

Nigeria. The densely packed cities are abandoned and in ruins. Isolated villages survive behind locked doors under constant threat of a war on two fronts; a war the living cannot win.

Hidden miles into the desert is a secret weapon that, if unleashed, will bring peace—but at the risk of total annihilation. Undermanned and with scant resources, Michael Talbot's squad of misfits is ordered to retrieve classified data of the utmost imperative.

In a concealed laboratory, buried deep underground, the squad discovers a monstrous super-race that will either be humanity's greatest weapon or deliver a blood-soaked end to their existence.

The mission becomes perilous and terrifying; all may not survive.

Above ground, zombies have made startling progress, and the team faces a powerful necromancer who controls an army of the dead. There is a magic here, though, that Michael never dared hope for.

Meanwhile, aboard the floating city the USS Jimmy Carter, a malcontented faction is hatching plans of violence and insurrection. Even within Talbot's own squad there are mutinous whispers. How many lines will be crossed? What is the price of loyalty and honor? Is it the cost of survival?

Join Michael Talbot, BT, and their daredevil team on a gripping adventure to restore the world to the living!

Continuing an amazing journey...

The narrator has a go at British accents, which I find adorable and completely pants, but there is something in his voice that brings our old friends to life. Mike, Top and the team, throughout the series for us and the years for them, have been put through the mill time and time again... With the ending of each book, I tell myself that I need to move on and expand my spectrum of reads, but I just cannot let go - I'm completely hooked and totally dependent on my daily fix of Talbot and Co!

it's all getting a bit confusing

enjoyed the book, spent way too long in the lift shaft though. if I thought Sean's Cockney accent was hilarious, his Nigerian one is even funnier. second listen, and I get it a bit more now lol. loving the series Mr tufo and loving the narration too.

an exciting journey

I finished this much too fast. Yes, another enjoyable and harrowing journey into Michael Talbot's adventures. all of the zombie fallouts must have Sean Ruunette as the narrator because now I can never picture anyone else's voice except his.

The plot thickens! Intelligent intertwining if different pieces of work… always full of surprises even at book 19! Hurry up 20!

Absolutely brilliant.

Read it in a day like most of Zombie Fallout. An absolute blinder in the series. Left on a cliffhanger as usual, cannot wait for more… this could go in so many ways I’ve spent so much time daydreaming on the story so far, the other series linked in and possibilities.

That’s a great author.. Mark Tufo is a natural leader in this genre and a standout star. More please!
