Summary
Two to Go is a mystery/adventure set in 1958.
This novel is the conclusion of the four-book sequential series, The Life and Times of Anthony James. It delivers 50 chapters in a fast-paced, easy-to-follow style, liberally laced with sex, violence, nostalgia, and a whole lot of fun. The format is a satire of movies of the period. It was written in the first person, in descriptive, visual terms with many surprises.
The three main characters:
Anthony James; six feet tall in his socks and a tight 190 pounds. As an R.A.F. fighter pilot, he was shot down over France, rescued by the underground, and spent two years of the war working with the underground in Europe.
Tommy Sanderson; a retired US naval commander with a quick wit and a temper to match. He stands six-foot-two and weighs a solid 300-400 pounds - a big spread but nobody knows, not even Tommy.
Steve Hughes; a commander of British Army intelligence; retired. His broad bulk approaches Tommy's but is still measurable at 290 pounds. Meticulous and dapper, he's the perfect English gentleman, with a Scottish accent.
Every twist and turn imaginable spins a complex, unique plot with Las Vegas intrigue, golf, and a giant gorilla. There's terrific sex that occurs in strange places and in unique ways, but that will always be an important part in my novels. Accurate history describes the assassination of our president, a threat of nuclear war from our own back yard, and a cold war with Russia that turns red hot! The enormous financial success as hotel and casino owners in Las Vegas lead our heroes into a fierce and bloody mob war with a very unusual conclusion. Our story ends with a grand celebration, a full circle reunion of the original cast and many strange endings, running the gamut of physical titillation, excitement, and suspense.
