Summary
Three months ago, I landed a job as a bartender. But not at a bar-at a guild. Yeah, the magic kind.
I'm not a badass mage like my three smokin' hot best friends. I'm not a sorcerer or an alchemist, or even a wussy witch. I'm just a human, slinging drinks like a pro and keeping my non-magical nose out of mythic business. Seriously, I know my limits.
So why am I currently standing in a black-magic ritual circle across from a fae lord?
Somewhere behind me, my three mage friends are battling for their lives. Somewhere near my feet is the rogue witch I just knocked out with a stolen spell. And I have about five seconds to convince this very angry sea god not to shmoosh me like a bug.
I'm pretty sure this wasn't part of the job description.
Make sure to check out the companion series, The Guild Codex: Demonized, available now, and The Guild Codex: Warped, coauthored by Rob Jacobsen.

Stories are getting better and better
Lots of fun, sass and badassery!
Tori, a human, works in a bar for a mythic guild and keeps getting herself into mythical trouble.
A brilliant story which was fast paced and with excellent narration.

Simply fantastic
The first books pulled me into the series, the second, pushed me away a little. I'll admit I didn't really like Book 2. Because of that, I was nervous about this book. It, however, exceeded all expectations, a brilliant listen and cements itself as my favourite of the series so far. Fans of the series will not be disappointed.

going all the fey...
oh my god... I absolutely love this book, and at the same time I wanted to scream in protest. I guess I'm going to have to wait and see how the story plays out, there are so many amazing characters in this series. everyone has such interesting backgrounds, I can't wait to start the next book.

Brilliant
Absolutely amazing!!! as always... this instalment to Tori’s journey just stole my heart, epic fight scene, loveable enthralling main characters, hatable bad guys you want to die, brilliant story amazing plot twists, this just made me laugh out loud as well as well up on more than one accession. It was written so well you felt Tori’s whole journey like you where right there with her... catching your breath and waiting on the outcomes right next to her. JUST AMAZING!!!!!

Snark and magic
A human involved with a guild of mythics (magic users), she makes up for lack of magic with temper and courage. An engaging main character, with the help of her mythic friends, copes with more trouble than most people could and comes out of it ready for more. Actually, I think she *is* a mythic, with the magical talent of attracting trouble [ grin ].
I have enjoyed all three of the stories in this series and look forward to more.
