Loved loved loved
After being stuck in a rut with some questionable Instagram/booktok recommendations I’m so glad I came across this. It’s a lovely YA book that details a rich world building. Great narration as well!

good fun, well plotted and read.
a great idea, well written and plotted. very satisfying listen, well read too. the two voices are distinct, and appropriate to the characters. for a YA audience, so doesn't stray from its path, but engaging and entertaining. most enjoyable.

Great plot, a bit too much romance...
Aspects of this one worked really well. I liked the fact that both sisters really struggled to adapt in each other’s world and that the envisaged plan didn’t go remotely to plan. What I did find a bit frustrating was the hefty dose of romance that at times meant the girls – Wren in particular – was busy mooning over the man in her life, instead of focusing on keeping alive… But I’m aware I’m not the target audience for this book, so did make a few allowances for genre conventions. Looking forward to reading the next book in the adventure.

Great story!
This is way better than most YA books out there. Humour and serious moments, two very different heroines. A really refreshing read. Give it a go!

What an awesome witchy read!!
Loved this book and the audio was fantastic. Enjoyed the differences in the twins and the trouble Ren seemed to always find herself in as she settled into her sisters place. Love a good twin swap story as well, obviously this one was a little different as it was not exactly consensual! Really liked to side characters as well and I am hoping for more villain in the sequel!

Good story, but lazy and complacent production choices
This story is great; the characters are well-drawn, the narrative compelling, the world vibrant and interesting.
However, I have a big issue with the production.
When choosing voice actors, it might have been helpful to have given the character with a Scottish love interest to the actor who can actually DO one. Or, failing that, to have had both performers discuss together whether that artistic choice was actually going to work, and discarded the idea.
Both narrators are good vocal performers, but one of the performers is British, and one clearly American doing her best to master accents she is clearly not proficient with. However, this doesn’t seem to have been an issue, because no one cared enough to do any joined up thinking.
Audible basically has the monopoly on audiobooks, and I think this kind of complacency is unfair to both the co-authors and the performers, all of whom have poured hours of graft and effort into creating the best story they can, only to be let down by lazy production.
Anyone considering downloading this, read the book yourself instead. You’ll get more value that way.

Enchanting!
Funny, Romantic, gently Adventurous…definitely recommend!
At first the narrators where a little difficult to get over, after reading the book and Imagining the characters and then suddenly being given a different image with the narrator’s voices.
But they actually did really well at bringing Wren and Rose to life, and you get so caught up in the story it’s easy to imagine and get lost in Katherine and Catherine’s beautiful world of Eana!

I only liked it
It’s good but predictable, it’s definitely the beginning of a series but misses some world building. Also the sisters relationship was odd. Overall good read
