Summary
It starts with a series of unexplained events. Earth tremors across the globe. Women being driven insane by their heightened and scrambled senses. And the world is starting to notice - the number one Twitter trend is #realfemmefatales. Governments and scientists are bewildered and silent. The world needs Torchwood, but there's not much of Torchwood left.
Captain Jack Harkness has tracked the problem to its source: a village in Peru, where he's uncovered evidence of alien involvement.
In Cardiff, Gwen Cooper has discovered something alien and somehow connected to Jack. If the world is to be restored, she has to warn him - but she's quickly becoming a victim of the madness, too....

very interesting and nice to see some jack angst
the majority of the book is jack angst (especially the end and beginning). one of my favourite books and can't wait until I purchase the paperback.

Just finished a great book. I would definitely listen to it again.story line just my cup of tea.if you like John how well love it. Be warned there is no putting I down.

Aye Aye Cap'ain
Excellent story, compelling and brilliant characterisation. . I am wondering if Johns participation was to tell us how gorgeous Captain Jack is, as this is a reoccurring theme, in saying that it just made me smile not irritated. Clever old Barrowman family.. Daniel Pirrie is an great choice for the audio, he really brought this to life with a great variety of voice characters .... 10 out of 10

Excellent Torchwood Adventure!
The action zips along in this many stranded novel. The threads are interwoven with great skill and lead to a statisfying conclusion. Well done John and Carole! More to come one hopes!

Love this Story
This is a fantastic listen I love TORCHWOOD and I love that it was written by John and his sister.

make this season 5
would have preferred John barrowman as narrator but what can I say we dont always get what we want. make a season 5 from this and we will be more than happy.
