Summary

In Monktree, Wyoming, a biker rally is held every year. Over 1000 outlaw bikers descend on the small town, creating a smorgasbord of beer, bikes, and badasses. Of course, when the zombie apocalypse hits, loyalties will be tested, and blood will run.

Featuring an all-new cast of characters in a brand-new location, This Rotten World: Rally and Rot continues the tradition of zombie excellence established with the original series.

Love this series

I miss the old friends we met in the first 5 books, but this is a great new start with new ripple to care about.

Jacy does it again

If you are a horror fan, a Stephen King diehard, a zombie genre fan, or just someone who likes their novels with a bit more edge and bite (sorry couldn't help myself), then you have to tuck into the This Rotten World series. Without giving too much away, this sixth novel is actually a stand-alone in terms of the group of characters you'll encounter. I mention this because if you're unsure of whether to commit to a series of novels, you can safely tuck into this one all by itself. Herein, you'll be able to explore the gritty sort of American slice o life and rough antihero survival shenanigans Jacy Morris delivers. Morris is so great at crafting complex, realistic (not idealistic) characters, you'll start to become invested. You'll root for several, you'll worry about the outcome, and you'll rue the circumstances and situations of This Rotten World. And if you make it through this one as your introduction into this apocalyptic landscape, I'm pretty certain you'll feel the need to get your hands on book one and so on.
