Lives up to the hype
This book is funny & curious & heartwarming. I loved the house & the apothecary. Included a lot of botany & some Greek mythology but I didn't feel like I was being lectured.

One if the best I've read
queer black girl magic. it's emotional, gripping, funny as hel and I love all the characters.
I honestly loved everything about this book, I'm so so happy I found it.
I would definaty recommend you read this!

Obsessed with this series
This book series is amazing- I only wish it was a trilogy!!
The Greek mythology, magic & twists and turns teamed with such beautiful representation in the characters make this such a phenomenal read!

Unputdownable 😍💝
This clean, young adult story is full of magic and mystery. The suspense was quite thrilling, specially at the end, and it was fascinating to slowly uncover the many mysteries surrounding the FMC birth family.
The cover is beautiful, the narration was excellent, the writing was amazing, and I just couldn’t put it down. The plant magic, together with with Greek mythology, queer rep, and all the mysteries made this story super interesting. 100% recommend.
